The Sierra Leone 2,000 Leones Banknote was issued by the Bank of Sierra Leone in 2006. The banknote has a color combination of blue and orange and bears English text. Its obverse features I.T.A Wallace-Johnson. It also shows a port building and a cargo ship, the coat of arms of Sierra Leone, and a double diamond foil patch. The reverse depicts a stylized man with a date cluster and the Bank of Sierra Leone building. The banknote contains a windowed security thread with demetallized BCL and a watermark that reveals a lion's head, an electrotype BSL, and Cornerstones. The note is 160 x 77.5 mm in size and is signed by James D. Rogers and Mohamad Sanpha Fofana. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
