This uncirculated 2,000 Sierra Leonean leone note was issued by the Bank of Sierra Leone in 2016 and signed by Ibrahim Stevens and Kaifala Marah. It is an orange and blue note that measures 140 mm x 69 mm. Its obverse side contains a portrait of journalist Isaac Theophilus Akunna Wallace-Johnson, the national emblem, a port building and cargo ship, and a double diamond foil patch with demetalized BSL. Its reverse side shows the Bank of Sierra Leone building. Other security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized BSL 2000 and scrollwork and a watermark of a lion head, electrotype 2000, and Cornerstones.
