This uncirculated 5,000 Sierra Leonean leone note is dated 2018 and signed by Kelfala Kallon and Ibrahim Stevens. It is a blue and purple note that measures 145 mm long and 71 mm wide. Its obverse side contains a portrait of revolutionary Sengbe Pieh, the national emblem, a diamond holographic patch, and a view of the Old Fourah Bay College building. Its reverse side shows a view of the Bumbuna Dam. Security features include a StarChrome windowed security thread with demetalized BSL 5000 and a watermark that shows a lion head, an electrotype 5000, and Cornerstones.
