This uncirculated 1 Singaporean dollar banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Board of Commissioners of Currency as part of the 1987 Ship series. It is a blue note that bears the signature of Goh Keng Swee, and measures 125 mm x 63 mm. Its obverse side shows the national coat of arms, a four-masted “Sha Chuan” ship, a Chinese crane, and a Chinese carp (Cyprinus carpio). Its reverse side depicts a Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid and the Sentosa satellite earth station. Security features include a solid security thread, a fancy serial number, and a lion head watermark.
