The Singapore 1 Dollar banknote is part of the Ship Series issued by the Board of Commissioners of Currency in 1987. The blue banknote features the coat of arms of Singapore, the Sha Chuan four-masted ship, a Chinese crane, and a Chinese carp fish. The back of the banknote depicts a Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid and the Sentosa satellite earth station. The paper bill measures 125 x 63 mm and is equipped with a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects a lions head. The banknote was printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company, Limited and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, the banknote has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
