This uncirculated 1,000 Slovakian korun note is a commemorative banknote issued by the National Bank of Slovakia in 2000 to celebrate the new millennium. It is a purple note that is dated 1993 (2000), bear the signatures of Marian Tkac and Jan Mathes, and measures 158 x 80 mm. Its obverse side features the ROK 2000 overprint and clergyman Andrej Hlinka. Its reverse side shows the Roman Catholic Church of Saint Andrew in Ruzomberok, Angels placing a crown on Madonna as depicted in the church’s medieval fresco, Andrej Hlinka´s mausoleum and coat of arms. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetallized 1000 Sk and a watermark of Andrej Hlinka.
