Slovenia 20 Tolarjev Banknote, 1992, P-12a, UNC, TAP Authenticated

The Slovenia 20 Tolarjev is part of the first tolar banknotes issued by the Bank of Slovenia in 1992. It comes in multicolor and features a portrait of scholar Janez Vaikard Valvasor, a quill pen, and topographic maps on the obverse. The banknotes reverse depicts angels from the book The Glory of the Duchy of Carniola by Valvasor. The 126 x 63 mm paper bill bears a solid security thread printed with BANKA SLOVENIJE and a watermark that shows an image of Valvasor. The paper bill was printed by De La Rue and signed by Governor France Arhar and Board Member Velimir Bole. This particular Slovenia 20 Tolarjev banknote has been TAP authenticated and in uncirculated condition.
