The 1992 Slovenia 50 Tolarjav is part of the first issues of the tolar banknotes, designed by Miljenko Licul and Zvone Kosovelj. The banknotes obverse features a geometric sphere, phases of the moon, and a portrait of mathematician Jurij Vega. The back of the note displays the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts building located in Ljubljana. It also depicts the planets of the solar system. The banknote is 132 x 66 mm in size and bears a solid security thread with a BANKA SLOVENIJE print. Additionally, it has a watermark that reflects a portrait of Jurij Vega. Printed by De La Rue, the note carries the signatures of Governor France Arhar and Board Member Velimir Bole. This Slovenian banknote comes in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
