Its obverse features a fish, the national flag, and the coat of arms of the Solomon Islands. The back of the paper bill depicts a fish and a woman making shell money. The paper bills security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBSI and a watermark that reflects the head of a falcon, an electrotype CBSI, and Cornerstones. It also bears the signatures of Governor Rick N. Houenipwela and Finance Secretary Shadrach Fanega.
