The Solomon Islands 10 Dollar banknote introduced by the Central Bank of Solomon Islands in 2006 comes in violet and purple color combinations. Its obverse design boasts birds, a fish, the flag of Solomon Islands, and the nations emblem. The reverse of the note portrays a fish and a woman making shell money. The 147 x 72 mm paper bill comes with a windowed security thread that has a demetalized CBSI. It also carries a watermark that reflects the head of a falcon, an electrotype CBSI, and Cornerstones. Printed by De La Rue, the note bears the signatures of the bank governor Denton Hehenoro Rarawa and Secretary of Finance Shadrach Fanega.
