This uncirculated 2 Solomon Islands dollar banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Central Bank of Solomon Islands in 1997. It is a green banknote that measures 140 mm x 70 mm and bear the signatures of Bank Governor Rick N. Houenipwella and Director Warren Paia. Its obverse side shows stylized frigate birds, porpoises, and angel fish, and the national coat of arms. Its reverse side depicts men fishing with spears. Security features include a shell ring registration device, a solid security thread with a demetalized CBSI, and a watermark of a flying falcon.
