This uncirculated 40 Solomon Islands dollar banknote is a legal tender banknote issued by the Central Bank of the Solomon Islands to commemorate the 40th anniversary of national independence. It is a blue polymer banknote that is introduced in 2018, bears the signatures of Denton Hehenoro Rarawa and Fred Fakarii, and measures 145 mm x 66 mm. Its obverse side shows a map of the Solomon Islands, the national coat of arms, and a standing man blowing a conch shell. Its reverse side depicts children in a canoe, a sea turtle, a diver, a man standing on a canoe, and a coral reef.
