This uncirculated 5 Solomon Island dollar banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Central Bank of Solomon Islands in 2004. It is a blue banknote that bear the signatures of Denton Hehenoro Rarawa and Shadrach Fanega, and measures 145 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side shows a fish, birds, the flag, and the national coat of arms. Its reverse side depicts wood carvings of a sea spirit, traditional war canoes, a hut on stilts, and palm trees. Security features include a solid security thread with a demetalized CBSI, a fancy serial number (#616661), and a watermark of a falcon in flight.
