The Solomon Islands 5 Dollars banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Solomon Islands between 2004 and 2018. This blue banknote features birds, fish, and the national emblem on its obverse. The back of the paper bill depicts wood carvings of the sea spirit, native war canoes, a hut on stilts, and palm trees. The banknote measures 145 x 72 mm and bears a solid security thread with a demetalized CBSI. It also has a watermark in the form of a falcon in flight.
