The Solomon Islands 50 dollars banknote is part of the family of notes issued by the Central Bank of Solomon Islands in 1996 ND. The banknotes obverse features a club, dog carvings, and the emblem of Solomon Islands. The back of the note depicts Nymphalid butterflies, flowers, a pot, a snake, lizards. Shells, plants, and a spear are also visible. The banknote is 160 x 79 mm in size and carries a solid security thread. It also has a watermark that reveals a falcon in flight when held up to a light source. The note was also signed by Rick Houeniplwela and Warren Paia. This banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
