The Solomon Islands 50 dollar banknote was released in 2001 by the Central Bank of Solomon Islands. The obverse of the note features a club and dog carvings at the lower center. It also displays the flag of the Solomon Islands and its coat of arms. The reverse of the note depicts Nymphalid butterflies, flowers, a pot, a snake, lizards. Shells, plants, and a spear are also visible. The banknote is 162 x 72 mm in size and carries a solid security thread. It also has a watermark that reveals a falcon in flight when held up to a light source. The note was also signed by Rick Houeniplwela and George Kiriau. This particular banknote comes in uncirculated condition.
