The banknotes obverse features a club, the national flag, dog carvings, and the coat of arms of Solomon Islands, and a hologram feature. The reverse of the banknote depicts nymphalid butterflies, flowers, a pot, a snake, lizards, shells, plants, and spears. The paper bill is 160 x 72 mm in size and bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBSI. It also has a watermark that reflects a falcons head, an electrotype CBSI, and Cornerstones.
