The Somalia 20 Somali Shillings Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Somalia in 1983. The banknote is predominantly brown and was printed by De La Rue. On its obverse is the Somalia National Bank headquarters building in Mogadishu. It also shows the coat of arms of Somalia and a star. The reverse features cattle walking along a stream with trees in the background. The banknote contains a solid yellow security thread and a watermark that reveals Sayyid Mohammed Abdullah Hassan. It is 137 x 70 mm in size and is signed by Hassan Elmi Barkhadle and Mohamud Jama Ahmed. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
