Somaliland 1,000 Shillings Banknote, 2006, P-CS1, UNC

This uncirculated 1,000 Somaliland shilling note was created in 2006 exclusively as a numismatic product by the Universal Coins in Canada. It has never been legal tender within Somaliland or anywhere else. It has a purple, brown, and orange color scheme, is dated 2006, and is signed by Hussein Ali Du’aleh. Its obverse side shows a reclining lion, a camel holographic patch, and a native girl in a hood. Its reverse side shows a standing lion and a walking camel. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a diagonal pattern watermark. Its dimensions are 160 mm by 76 mm.
