Somaliland 1,000 Shillings Banknote, 2011, P-20a, UNC

The Somaliland 1,000 Shilling banknote was issued by the Bank of Somaliland in 2011. The front of the note features the Bank of Somaliland building located in Hargeisa. It also depicts trees and camels. The reverse displays herdsmen with a flock of sheep and goats on Berbera dock. Trucks and a ship are also shown. The note is 145 x 66 mm in size and bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized BOS 1000. Furthermore, it carries the signatures of the bank governor Abdi Dirir Abdi and cashier Abdi Mohamoud Gullet. This particular Somaliland 1,000 Shilling banknote is in uncirculated condition.
