The Somaliland 1,000 Shilling banknote was issued by the Bank of Somaliland in 2015. At the center of its obverse is the Bank of Somaliland building located in Hargeisa. It also depicts trees and camels. Herdsmen with a flock of sheep and goats on Berbera dock are shown on the reverse. It also shows trucks and a ship. The banknote is 145 x 66 mm in size and bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized BOS 1000. This particular Somaliland 1,000 Shilling banknote is in uncirculated condition and has a repeating serial number. Additionally, the note has been TAP authenticated 60-70.
