The Somaliland 500 Shillings banknote is part of the family of notes issued by the Bank of Somaliland in 2011. The obverse of the blue-colored banknote features the Bank of Somaliland building in Hargeisa with trees and camels. The notes reverse depicts herdsmen with a flock of sheep and goats on the dock of Berbera. It also displays a ship and trucks. The note is 145 x 66 mm in size and has no security threads and watermarks. It bears the signatures of the bank governor Abdi Dirir Abdi and cashier Abdi Mohamoud Gullet. This particular Somaliland 500 Shillings banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
