The South Africa 10 Rand was introduced by the South African Reserve Bank in 1999. Its obverse displays a rhinoceros and a sunflower that transitions to a diamond. The banknotes reverse features agriculture, a ram, a windmill, sunflowers, stylized corn, and cattle. The banknote is 128 x 70 mm in size and carries a windowed security thread with demetalized SARB. It also has a watermark that reflects a rhinoceros and a registration form in the form of a sunflower with R in its center. The banknote was printed by the South African Bank Note Company and has the signature of Tito Mboweni who served as the bank governor/president. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
