The South Africa 10 Rand banknote was released by the South African Reserve Bank in 2005. Its obverse features the coat of arms of South Africa, a rhinoceros, and sunflower that transitions into a diamond. The reverse depicts a ram, agriculture, sunflowers, a windmill, and cattle. Printed by the South African Bank Note Company, the 128 x 70 mm paper bill bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized SARB 10. This green banknote also has a watermark that shows a rhinoceros and an electrotype 10. Additionally, it has the denomination as its registration device and carries the signature of the bank governor/president Tito Mboweni. This South African banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
