The South Africa 20 Rand banknote was released in 2013 ND by the South African Reserve Bank. The note has brown and violet color combinations. Its obverse bears the coat of arms of South Africa and a portrait of Nelson Mandela who served as President of the country. The reverse of the note features elephants. The 134 x 70 mm paper bill carries a holographic windowed security thread with the national emblem, SARB, and 20 RAND. Other security features include a watermark that shows Nelson Mandela and an electrotype 20, and a registration device in the form of an elephant. The note was printed by the South African Bank Note Company and signed by E. Lesetja Kganyago. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
