The 134 x 70 mm paper banknote comes with a holographic windowed security thread with the national emblem, SARB, and 20 RAND. Additionally, the note has a watermark that reflects Nelson Mandela and an electrotype 20. The banknote carries the signature of bank governor E. Lesetja Kganyago.
