This uncirculated 50,000 South Korean won banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Bank of Korea in 2000. It is an olive green, tan, and red banknote that measures 161 mm x 76 mm. Its obverse side shows the Borugak Jagyeongnu (water clock of Borugak Pavilion), a dragon, the bank logo, and a portrait of King Sejong the Great in a hanbok. Its reverse side depicts a view of the Gyeonghoeru (Royal Banquet Hall) at Gyeongbokgung Palace. Security features include a windowed security thread and a watermark of King Sejong the Great with an electrotype t’aeguk (two-comma roundel).
