The South Korea 10,000 Won Banknote was issued by the Bank of Korea in 2007. It has a color combination of green and blue. Its obverse side features a portrait of King Sejong the Great wearing a hanbok which is a traditional Korean dress, a Korean text of Yongbiacheonga (Songs of Flying Dragons), and an Ilwolohbongdo painting of the sun, moon, and five mountain peaks. Its reverse side displays a celestial globe, star charts, a modern telescope, and the bank logo represented by a hibiscus flower. Security features include a solid security thread with printed Korean text Bank of Korea 10000, a watermark of King Sejong the Great with an electrotype 10000, and a two-comma roundel (taeguk) registration device. The banknote is 148 x 68 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, the banknote has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
