NOTE TO PROSPECTIVE PURCHASERS OF BANKNOTES THAT ARE STILL IN CIRCULATION

There may be widespread, unfounded claims that circulating currencies such as the Indonesian rupiah, Iraqi dinars and/or Vietnamese dong will increase in value relative to the US dollar. Banknote World wishes to warn potential purchasers of such circulating banknotes against expecting that these currencies will be revalued or otherwise increase significantly in value as a currency. Banknote World sells such currencies as collectibles at prices that are already above their face value given the quality preservation and authentication services we provide. Purchasers are advised that while the value of banknotes as collectibles may go up and down based on collector interest, significant increases in value as a circulating currency are NOT likely

Banknote World does not guarantee any future price or value with respect to any banknote that it sells. By purchasing circulating or non-circulating currency from us, you confirm your understanding that Banknote World sells banknotes as collectibles and that the purchasing of banknotes for any reasons other than for collecting purposes is highly speculative. You also confirm you understanding that Banknote World does not guarantee any future price or value with respect to any banknote that it sells. You agree that your purchase of any banknotes and/or coins from Banknote World is for collectible purposes only.

The South Korea 5,000 Won Banknote was issued by the Bank of Korea in 2006 in a red, yellow, green, and blue color combinations. It also depicts the Ojukheon (Mongryoungsil) building, a round holographic patch, and ojuk (black bamboos). The reverse displays the hibiscus flower bank logo, a swallowtail butterfly, watermelons, cockscomb flowers, a and katydid cricket. The banknote contains a solid security thread with printed Korean text Bank of Korea 5000, a registration device that shows t’aeguk (two comma roundel), and a watermark that reveals Yulgok Yi I and an electrotype 5000. The paper bill is 142 x 68 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
