Reviews:

The South Korea 5,000 Won banknote was released by the Bank of Korea in 2006. The banknotes obverse depicts a round holographic patch, black bamboos ojuk, the Ojukheon building, and Confucian scholar Yulgok Yi I wearing a traditional Korean dress hanbok. The reverse of the paper bill features the bank seal reflecting a hibiscus flower, a swallowtail butterfly, cockscomb flowers, watermelons, and a katydid cricket. The banknote is 142 x 68 mm in size and carries a solid security thread witn printed Korean text and Bank of Korea 5000. It also has a watermark that shows Yulgok Yi I and an electrotype 5000. Additionally, it bears a registration device in the form of a taeguk. This particular South Korea 5,000 won banknote is in used condition.
