This uncirculated 1,000 South Sudanese pound note is a replacement banknote issued by the Bank of South Sudan. It is a brown and purple note that is dated 2020, bear the signatures of Dier Tong Ngor and Salvatore Garang Mabiordit, and measures 158 mm x 82 mm. Its obverse side features the revolutionary leader Dr. John Garang de Mabior and a Dinka warrior spear. Its reverse side shows two ostriches. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized BSS 1000 and a watermark of Dr. John Garang de Mabior.
