The South Sudan 1,000 South Sudanese Pounds banknote is part of the Bank of South Sudan’s 2020 issues. Its obverse features revolutionary leader Dr. John Garang de Mabior and a Dinka warrior spear. The reverse of the paper bill depicts two ostriches and the denomination. The banknote bears a watermark that reflects an image of Dr. John Garang de Mabior. It also has a windowed security thread with demetalized BSS 1000. It measures 158 x 82 mm and is signed by Dier Tong Ngor and Salvatore Garang Mabiordit. This particular paper bill comes in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
