Reviews:

The South Sudan 1 South Sudanese Pound banknote was issued by the Bank of Sudan in 2011 with a pick number P-5. On its obverse is a portrait of politician Dr. John Garang de Mabior who led the Sudanese Peoples Liberation Army at the time of the Second Sudanese Civil War. It also shows a warrior shere from the Dinka tribe. The reverse of the paper bill features a herd of giraffes. The note is 126 x 67 mm in size and bears a watermark that reflects the denomination and a portrait of a man. It also carries a windowed security thread with the denomination. Additionally, it has the signatures of Alija Malok Aleng and David Den Athorbei. This particular banknote has been graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
