The South Sudan 10 South Sudanese Pound banknote was issued by the Bank of South Sudan in 2016. Featured on its obverse is revolutionary leader Dr. John Garang de Mabior. The reverse of the banknote depicts an African buffalo or a cape buffalo with a calf. It also shows a pineapple. The banknote is 135 x 68 mm in size and bears a watermark that reflects an image of Dr. John Garang de Mabior and an electrotype 10. It also has a windowed security thread with a demetalized BSS 10.
