The South Sudan 100 South Sudanese Pounds was released by the Bank of South Sudan in 2011. On the front side of the note is a portrait of Dr. John Garang de Mabior who was a revolutionary leader and the first Vice President of Sudan. The obverse also displays a Dinka warrior spear. The reverse of the note features a lion and a waterfall. The banknote is 146 x 75 mm in size and carries the signatures of Alija Malok Aleng and David Den Athorbei. It also bears a watermark that reflects Dr. John Garang de Mabior. This particular South Sudan 100 Pounds banknote has been given a grade of 64 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
