The South Sudan 25 was issued by the Bank of Sudan in 2011 ND with a pick number P-8. The 139 x 70 mm paper bill features a picture of Sudanese revolutionary leader Dr. John Garang de Mabior and a Dinka warrior spear on its obverse. The back of the note depicts oryx antelopes and an oil derrick. The banknote comes with a windowed security thread and a watermark that reveals a mans face and the denomination.
