The reverse depicts elephants. The paper bill is 142 x 72 mm in size and carries a green-to-gold windowed security thread with a demetalized BSS 50. It also has a watermark that reflects Dr. John Garang de Mabior and an electrotype 50. This particular South Sudan 50 Pound banknote bears a radar serial number and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, it has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
