The South Vietnam 1,000 Dong banknote is part of the family of notes released by the National Bank of Vietnam in 1971. The banknote has pink and turquoise color combinations and depicts the National Bank of Vietnam headquarters building on its obverse. The reverse of the note features guilloches. Printed by De La Rue, the 152 x 76 mm paper bill bears a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects an image of military officer Tran Hung Dao. Additionally, the note was signed by Nguyen Van Dong and Nguyen Huu Hanh. This particular South Vietnam 1,000 Dong banknote is in About Uncirculated condition.
