The South Vietnam 1,000 Dong banknote was issued by the National Bank of Vietnam in 1971 ND. The banknote comes with pink and turquoise colors and its both sides are in Vietnamese. Its obverse features the National Bank of Vietnam headquarters building while the reverse has guilloches. The paper bill is 152 x 76 mm in size and bears a solid security thread. It also has a watermark that shows Tran Hung Dao. The banknote was printed by De La Rue and carries the signatures of Nguyen Van Dong and Nguyen Huu Hanh. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
