This uncirculated 1 South Vietnamese dong note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the National Bank of Vietnam in 1956. It is a green, yellow, and pink note that bear the signatures of Tu Van Quy and Nguyen Van Dong, and measures 124 mm x 78 mm. Its obverse side features ornate carved columns and a temple building. Its reverse side shows trees and a temple building. Though there is no security thread, there is still a watermark of tiger head.
