Featured on its obverse is the National Bank of Vietnam headquarters building. The banknotes reverse depicts guilloches. Its security features include a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects 13th-century Grand Commander of armies, Tran Hung Dao. The banknote was printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson, & Company and bears the signatures of Nguyen Van Dong and Nguyen Huu Hanh.
