The South Vietnam 200 Dong banknote was issued by the National Bank of Vietnam in 1972 ND. The paper bill comes in a color combination of green and burgundy and is 149 x 72 mm in size. Its obverse features the Independence Palace in Saigon and a pseudo-embossed underprint pattern. The reverse of the banknote depicts three deers, a fruit, and a pseudo-embossed deer underprint pattern. The banknote bears a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects Nguyen Thai Mai Anh.
