South Vietnam 5 Dong Banknote, 1955 ND, P-13, AU-About Uncirculated

The South Vietnam 5 Dong banknote was released in 1955 by the National Bank of Vietnam. The obverse of the red banknote features a man with a plow and a water buffalo in a rice paddy. The banknotes reverse depicts tropical vegetation and a straw hut by the river. The banknote is 125 x 65 mm in size and bears no security thread and watermarks. The note was printed by the Security Banknote Company and carries the signatures of Nguyen Van Dong and Tu Van Quy. This particular South Vietnam 5 Dong banknote is in About Uncirculated condition.
