Reviews:

The Spain 1,000 Pesetas Banknote was issued by the Bank of Spain in 1992. It has a color combination of green, purple, red, and yellow. Its obverse features the globe showing the Americas, an Aztec ball player from Chiapas, Mexico, and a portrait of explorer, Hernan Cortes. The reverse is in a vertical orientation and features the coat of arms of a Spain, an astrolabe, and an outline of a globe with the ship's steering wheel pattern underprint. It also shows a portrait of explorer, Francisco Pizarro, the cathedral of Lima in Peru where Pizarro is buried, and a sword and a helmet. The banknote contains a solid security thread with a demetallized text. Its watermark depicts the Aztec emperor Moctezuma and an electrolyte 500. It is 130 x 65 mm in size and is signed by Jesus Urdiola Salvador, Luis Angel Rojo Duque, and Esteban Rospide Echeto. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
