The Spain 10,000 Pesetas Banknote was issued by the Bank of Spain in 1992. It has a color combination of blue, green, orange, and red. Its obverse features the House of America in Plaza de Cibeles and a portrait of King Juan Carlos I. It also shows a fleur-de-lys pattern underprint and the coat of arms of Spain. The reverse is in a vertical orientation and features scientist Jorge Juan y Santacilia, a geometric design, a caravan sailing ship, and a design of a ship’s hull. The note contains a solid security thread with a demetallized BE DIEZ MIL. It also bears a watermark that reveals Antonio de Ulloa y de la Torre-Guiral and an electrotype 500. It is 154 x 74 mm in size and is signed by Jesus Urdiola Salvador, Luis Angel Rojo Duque, and Esteban Rospide Echeto. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
