The Spain 100 Pesetas Banknote was issued by the Bank of Spain in 1953. It has a color combination of brown, red, and orange. Its obverse features Julio Romero de Torres, the coat of arms of Spain, and a cluster of fruit. The reverse depicts Julio Romero de Torres’ painting “La Fuensanta” of model Maria Teresa Lopez Gonzalez with arms resting on a copper cauldron. Its reverse has a border of fruit. The banknote does not have a security thread but bears a watermark that reveals a head of a woman in profile. It is 138 x 88 mm in size and is signed by Joaquin Benjumea Burin, Antonio Victoriano, and Joaquin Serrano Garcia. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
