Spain 200 Pesetas Banknote, 1980, P-156, UNC, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The Spain 200 Peseta banknote was released in 1980 by the Bank of Spain. The banknotes obverse features a portrait of novelist Leopoldo Garcia-Alas y Urena and the coat of arms of Spain. The reverse of the note depicts El Carbayon oak tree in Oviedo, cross, and a handwritten fragment of Clarins novel titled La Regenta. The 120 x 65 mm paper bill has a green solid security thread and a watermark that reflects the head of Leopoldo Alas. The banknote bears the signatures of Rendueles, Palazuelo, and Urdiola.
