This uncirculated 1,000 Sri Lankan rupee banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. It is a green banknote that is dated 05 April 1990, bear the signatures of Dingiri Banda Wijetunge and Halwalage Neville Sepala Karunatilake, and measures 177 mm x 82 mm. Its obverse side features the Victoria Dam on the Mahaweli River. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and depicts the University of Ruhuna and a peacock. Security features include a windowed security thread and a watermark of a lion holding a whip.
