This uncirculated 1,000 Rupees Sri Lanka note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. It is a green note that is dated 2010, bear the signatures of Ajith Nivard Cabraal and Mahinda Rajapaksa, and measures 148 x 67 mm. Its obverse side features White Four Ring (Ypthima ceylonica) butterfly, old rock wall and new Ramboda Tunnel entrance, Sri Lanka hanging parrot (Loriculus beryllinus) and Lion holding whip with sword. Its reverse side shows Davul Bera drummer and Malpadaya Netuma dancer, guard stone (muragala) of naga-raja holding sprouting branch and punkalasa (pot of plenty, symbol of prosperity), beneath hood of cobra heads, with Sankha and Padma at feet and stylized Dvithva liya vela floral motif. Security features include a 2.5-mm wide red-to-green StarChrome windowed security thread with demetalized CBSL RS 1000 and a watermark of Parrot with electrotype 1000 and Cornerstones.The details of this note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
