The Sri Lanka 10 Rupees Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in 1990. This brown banknote features the octagon building at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy. The reverse displays the Maha Vihare (Buddhist temple) in Kelaniya. The banknote contains a solid security thread with printed CENTRAL BANK OF SRI LANKA. It also has a watermark that reflects a lion holding a whip. It is 127 x 66 mm in size and is signed by Halwalage Neville Sepala Karunarilake and Dingiri Banda Wijetunge. The banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
